Founded in 1971, The Eight Continent Inc. (TEC INC.) operates as agent, importer, and local wholesale distributor, servicing the F&B industry and other catering and retail establishments on the “one happy island” of Aruba. We take special pride in reaching ninety-six (96) percent of the Aruban market, including hotels, supermarkets, and restaurants, with our sizeable fleet of truck (some for frozen and chilled products). We also supply pharmacies around the island with generic medicines.
The Eight Continent Inc. is housed in a 2,783 square meter building comprised of 1700 cubic meters of freezer space, 100 cubic meters of chilled space, and 2000 square meters of general warehouse space and offices.

Our privately held company forms part of Cohen Enterprises, an organization who’s portfolio real estate, in Aruba as well as in Florida. The Eight Continent, Inc. has solid revenues every year with sales averaging US$ 12.000.000 per year. Our revenues continue to increase steadily, the last 12 month period showed an increase of fifteen (15) percent compared to the year before.

Polar Beer in Aruba

A mainstream Pilsner beer from Venezuela that has won great popularity on Aruba for both quality and refreshing taste. For more than 25 years TEC has been the exclusive distributor of the Polar brand which includes Polar Beer and Maltin Polar . To achieve our goal of outstanding service we take equal satisfaction in encouraging customers to consume beer in a responsible manner.

Product Lines – Wine & Liquor

TEC INC. offers a variety of liquor products such as Flor de Canja Rum, High Commissioner Whiskey, Deep Eddy Vodka, Blanco de Valle Aguardiente, Gun Powder Gin, Even Williams Bourbon. Also, wines , sparkling wines, champagne and spirits etc.

Product Lines Food & Beverages

We offer a variety of frozen dairy products from Holland (specialty cheeses, meat, pork, and chicken), chilled and frozen convenience foods, as well as, a variety of San Bernando ice cream, Fruti Frozen Fruit Bars, pastries from Davids Cookies, Haribo candies and snacks. We also represent SeaBest, CBI products, Tulip, and NorPack foods exclusively, among other brands. We also represent Hershey’s chocolates exclusively and Jules De Strooper premium butter biscuits. We are also proud distributor of Paloma Rice from Suriname which has had a continuous growth in the market share. Another US brand we carry is Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzels and Cab Cod potato chips and also Lance snacks.

Among non-alcoholic beverages we are the exclusive representative of the herbal vitalizing drinks Great Seng and Great Ging, Tropical Delight, Homemaker fruit juices, Big Aches, Anchor and Sodas Postobon.

Product Lines – Pharmaceuticals

The Eight Continent, Inc. (TEC) also has a pharmaceutical division. Our main supplier is Apotex. We sell generic medicines to pharmacies and hospitals on the island of Aruba. We also distribute Over the Counter (OTC) product such as Suero Oral.
